Owenton First Baptist Church

This past Sunday we participated in the Gideon emphasis that took place across the Owen County area.

On Sunday evening, our text was II Chronicles 14:1-15, and the sermon was entitled, “The blessings of dependency on God.”

Our children’s Easter egg extravaganza is on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Our Easter cantata will be on Sunday 24 at 11 a.m.

The monthly family night fellowship will be held on Wednesday, with a potluck meal at 6 p.m. and group gatherings at 6:45 p.m.

Our Easter service schedule on March 31 will include a coffee and donut fellowship at 10:30 a.m. and a combined Easter worship service at 10:30 a.m.

Our Main Street Youth are meeting each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The Rooted Kids ministry meets each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Our children’s church ministry is offered during the 11 a.m. worship service.

The family life center is open on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., and on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Our weekly service times are Sunday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 6:30 p.m. The Sunday school gatherings start at 10 a.m. Our Wednesday service begins at 6:30 p.m.
