Adi Bowling, a senior libero for the Owen County High School volleyball team, was a “natural” at the position, says Coach Ann Carter.

Owen County senior libero Adi Bowling has been named to the All-NCKC Volleyball Team, then North Central Kentucky Conference announced the All-NCKC Volleyball Team on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Bowling was a leader for Owen County throughout the 2023 high school volleyball season.

“Adi stepped into the libero position as a natural,” said Coach Ann Carter. “She worked hard to develop into the player we needed and lead her team with positivity and work ethic.”

Owen County suffered a season-ending loss to Gallatin County in the 31st District Volleyball Tournament. Gallatin County outlasted Owen County 3-2 (16-25, 25-17, 17-25, 25-21, 17-15) in the quarterfinals of the 31st District Volleyball Tournament at Carroll County High School on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

Owen County, Gallatin County, Williamstown, Walton-Verona, Eminence, Carroll County, Henry County and Trimble County are each represented on the All-NCKC Volleyball Team.

The All-NCKC Volleyball Team follows.

Henry County: Eliana Kent (MVP), Karma Price, Josie Peyton, Dakota Fitzgerald.

Trimble County: Anna Benecke, Olivia Liter, Emmy Jent.

Williamstown: Jolee Litz, Abby Knarr.

Walton-Verona: Bella O’Brien, Amber Hall.

Eminence: Bryce Berry.

Carroll County: Elle Spencer.

Gallatin County: Mylee Bledsoe.

Owen County: Adi Bowling.
