Our pastor’s message from Mark 14:1-9, entitled “Extravagant Love” revealed the timing, reason, reaction, rejoicing, and remembrance of this act of love. Sunday evening we enjoyed our annual Family Fun Fellowship.
The Lord’s Supper will be observed on Sunday evening and on January 28 we will have a Laymen Led service in the morning services with Seth Kingkade sharing his testimony and Rusty Williams bringing a challenge to the church. We will ordain Dr. Lucas Shelton as a deacon in the evening service.
The church volleyball league will kick off on Monday, Jan. 22. The matches will be held each Monday at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. through March 4.
Our Main Street Youth are meeting each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The Rooted Kids Ministry meets each Wednesday at 6:30pm. Our Children’s Church Ministry is offered during the 11:00am worship service.
The FLC is open Monday — Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 am — 2:00pm, and Monday/Tuesday/Thursday from 3:30-8:00pm.
Our weekly service times are Sunday at 9:00am, 11:00am, and 6:30pm. The Sunday School gatherings start at 10:00am. Our Wednesday service begins at 6:30pm.
