A 23-year-old man is behind bars after swiping and wrecking a deputy’s cruiser, leading to an hours-long, multi-agency search for the subject.
Owen County Sheriff’s Deputy Brent Caldwell was dispatched to 2680 New Liberty Turnpike around 11:30 p.m., Sept. 8, where Caldwell said Kaleb Willis approached Timmy Howard’s residence and asked for a drink of water. Howard then questioned Willis, who knocked Howard down in the doorway.
