A busy week for Lady Rebels

-A A +A
By Brian Blair

The Owen County High School girls basketball team is ready for a couple of days off.
The team played three games in five days last week - two at home and one on the road.
The first game took place on their home court as they took on Gallatin County last Dec. 16. The Lady Wildcats got off to a quick start as they jumped out to a 23-12 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Owen County held its own in the second but found themselves trailing 31-18 at intermission.
The deficit would prove to be too much as Gallatin County would win the game 69-43.
