Airplane hangar set for demolition Saturday morning

-A A +A
By Molly Haines

The four-plane airplane hangar constructed by Harry Clark Karsner more than 70 years ago will come down Saturday after the membership of Old Cedar Baptist Church initially voted to demolish the structure last year.
A pilot himself, Karsner built the hangar near the church following World War II, that for years carried the neon message, “Christ Is the Answer.”
The church purchased the land where the hangar sits in January 2017 from a local farmer, and rumors about the hangar’s future soon began circulating.
