The Owen County High School cross country team went to Trimble County twice last week.
Hunter Trenary came home from both trips with wins.
On Oct. 2, the team took part in an NCKC meet at Trimble County Park.
Trenary finished first in the boys’ race with a time of 18:08.42, nearly a minute ahead of the second-place finisher Christian Apel from Trimble County.
Cory Hudnall finished fifth while Logan Bitler placed seventh; Keith Stout finished 12th; Evan Lozier, 15th; Mitchell Griffin, 16th; Howy Herring, 18th; and Kyle Lozier 20th.
