    Officials are still trying to contact an Erlanger man after his house in Perry Park reportedly exploded in a liquid propane gas explosion. New Liberty Fire Chief Greg Davis said the New Liberty Fire Department received the call at 12:26 p.m. March 3. Firefighters arrived at 115 Tanglewood Dr. at 12:41 a.m.

    After carrying passengers from Owen County to Henry County and back for 80 years, the Gratz bridge was blasted Tuesday, leaving only a memory and some worry behind.

    The iconic Gratz bridge on KY 22, with its distinctive appearance, was a landmark in the community since it opened in 1931. Officials with the Kentucky Department of Transportation said the “Warren through truss” construction of the bridge was based on a 1848 design.
