    School age children are invited to meet other like-minded builders at 3:15 p.m., today (Wednesday). A variety of blocks and wheels will be available. Use your imagination and build your very own creation.

    MOOC is here. That stands for Massive Open Online Course and represents a new way to learn, to connect and to grow.

    The library staff will also be offering discussion groups for four courses of our choosing. Anyone interested may take the course online and gather once a week for a discussion with others taking the same course. We begin with Spanish 1, Jan. 7-28; Spanish 2, Feb. 4-25; Writing for Young Readers Jan. 12-Feb. 9 and Ignite Your Creativity Jan. 25-Feb. 29.
