    Starting in November, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service will accept and process applications for enrollment in the Conservation Stewardship Program, the nation’s largest conservation program. Applications will be made available in local service centers.

    Poplar Grove Baptist Church will be hosting the Owen County Association’s “Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer.” The Ten Mile association will be our guests. The meal, soups sandwiches and deserts, will begin at 6 p.m., with a meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7.
