OCHS senior and state champion Collin Trammel set a new 1A 200-meter dash state record at the KHSAA State Track Meet in Louisville on Saturday. Trammel’s time was 21.92 seconds.

Owen County is home to new state track champion

Owen County has a new state champion.
Members of the Owen County track teams headed to Louisville early Saturday morning to take part in the KHSAA Class A State Track Meet.
For one member of the team, it wasn’t enough to just win a state title. He also set a new state record.
Owen County High School senior Collin Trammel captured the title in the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.92 seconds.
He beat the record of 22 seconds set last year by Andre Klaassen from Whitefield Academy.
