We were blessed with special music by The Living Word Trio. We appreciate them traveling and sharing their God-given gifts with us. Bro. Bill’s message was from the book of Ruth on “When Famine Comes.”

  • Everyone who lives in Kentucky knows that the weather here can be fickle, but this is ridiculous.
After a beautiful spring day and 70 degrees on Saturday, Sunday was a real bummer.

It sits in the foothills of the Sierra Madres Mountains. She didn’t say how many were in the group, but it was a mix of wives and husbands and ladies that needed a break from the winter weather.

  • “Dear Mom and all,
I’m writing you a few lines to say hello and tell you that I’m getting along fine. Well Mom, we left Missouri Monday and arrived in Louisiana Tuesday about 12 o’clock. Well Mom I don’t have much to say, but I’ll give you my address anyway … tell them all hello and give them my best wishes … it’s awful beautiful out here and the trees are all pine. Well, I’ll have more time to write the next time.
    Love, Marvin”
