Workshop will help teach ways to prevent suicide

There will be a free suicide prevention training workshop Wednesday (today) at 7 p.m. at the Owenton Church of Christ.
The theme of the workshop is “question, persuade, refer” or QPR.
As a trained GPR “gatekeeper,” you will learn:
• To recognize the warning signs of suicide.
• How to offer hope
• How to get help and save a life.
