The high-powered wind storm that rolled through Owen County last week left about 5,000 local residents temporarily without power.
According to an Owen Electric Cooperative spokesperson, the power was restored to all customers in the service area by Thursday afternoon.
The company had crews on standby during the duration of the storm to handle any subsequent outages.
The company reminds residents that if a downed power line is spotted , stay away from the area and call (800)372-7612 to report the situation.
