The Owen County Soil Conservation District is proud to announce that Clayton Wilson has received the State Soil Conservation of Natural Resources Scholarship.
He attends Morehead State University.
Wilson is the  son of Curnie and Muriel Wilson.
The scholarship was awarded to a student that is enrolled in college who has declared a major in the field of agriculture or conservation of natural resources.
This scholarship is a state wide scholarship and is becoming a sought after scholarship among college students because selected students in the past have proven worthy of such honor in their field.
Wilson was presented his award at the annual state convention of the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts in Louisville.
Wilson was congratulated by chairman of the Owen County Soil Conservation District Ken Smith.
