Volleyball team picks up pair of wins

The Owen County High School Lady Rebels picked up a pair of wins on the volleyball court last week. After dropping a 2-0 decision at Walton-Verona Sept. 10,  the team posted a 2-0 win over Pendleton County Sept. 12 and 3-0 win over Eminence in Owenton Thursday night. The win over the Lady Warriors came after the Lady Rebels had lost a 3-2 contest in Eminence in the third match of the season. With the two wins, the Lady Rebels improve to 10-11 on the season. Owen County has two more home matches at home this week before hitting the road over the weekend.
