Two people were recently arrested after an anonymous tip led state police to find over five pounds of processed marijuana.
Jamie Conrad, 41, and Shawn Long, 38, both of Owenton, were arrested Nov. 15 on multiple drug charges.
Kentucky State Police Post 5 Public Affairs Officer Brad Arterburn said state police were serving arrest warrants on both Conrad and Long, which led to more charges.
Arterburn said the arrest warrants stemmed from an anonymous tip in October, when troopers found five pounds of processed marijuana, along with baggies and drug paraphernalia.
The arrest warrants were for cultivation of marijuana, five plants or more; trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arterburn said when Conrad was arrested at 2500 Old Monterey Rd., she was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Arterburn said Long consented to a search of his camper, where sprouts of marijuana were growing.
Long is charged with two counts of cultivation of marijuana, two counts of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of marijuana.
