Third-annual poetry reading hosted by Owen County Arts Council to be held Friday evening

Take a break from the winter and stop by the Wild Goose Cafe for its third-annual poetry reading.
Opening acts from the aspiring young poets of Owen County middle school and  high school. Our featured artists this year include poetry from George  Tisdale and Mark Schaemmler, music from Mandy Holbert and special guest Maureen Moorehead, the appointed State Poet and Laureate for Kentucky.
This family-friendly event will be held Friday at the Wild Goose Cafe on Seminary Street from 7 to 9 p.m.  Admission is free but donations to the art council are appreciated.
