Thank You Frank Anderson

TALKING TO MYSELF 27 August 2017 I never met Frank Anderson. However, the Lexington Herald-Leader allowed my publisher to license one of his photographs from their archives for the cover of my second book Butter in the Morning. I love that picture. The weathered tobacco barn against a Kentucky sky in the middle of a yellowed field of burley -- it was the perfect image to welcome readers into my Kentucky stories. He did with his camera what writers like me try to do with words. RIP Mr. Anderson, and thank you for capturing the unique history of my time and place on earth.
