Suspect tried to evade cops by hiding under pile of clothes

A tip to an Owen County sheriff’s deputy led police to a meth lab on Hwy. 1669 in Wheatley over the weekend.
Owen County Sheriff’s Deputy Marvin Goodrich said after receiving a tip on someone’s whereabouts Oct. 27, he and a Kentucky State Police trooper went to the residence where they thought they heard someone inside.
