Owen County High School seniors will present this year’s senior play, “Promedy,” at 8 p.m. April 22, 23, 29 and 30 in the OCHS auditorium.
The play is about a school’s resident drama geek, Dante, played by Gray Grisham, who gets dumped by a preppy, stuck-up cheerleader, Kay, who is played by Samantha Toole. Dante, a member of the school’s student council, proposes to the council to cancel prom and convinces fellow council members, Chester, played by Blake Chancery, and Lee, played by Krista Manning, to vote “no prom.”  The entire class must come together in order to save the prom.
Other lead roles include Beatrix, played by Sarah Paige Tuttle, and Tanner, played by Dylan Ellis. The play is being directed by OCHS drama teacher Lauren Doyle.
Tickets will be $3 for students and $5 for adults. Refreshments will be available in the lobby.
