State seeks public input on project to widen section of KY 22

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is looking for public input concerning the reconstruction and widening of KY 22 from KY 227 to the KY 845 intersection.

There will be a public meeting Jan. 28 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Owen County High School.

The format for the meeting will be informal and visitors can drop by at anytime and stay as long as they like.

The focus of the meeting will be to present the plans and information that has been developed for this project. Handouts containing information about the project, contact sheets and displays will be available at the meeting.

Representatives from the cabinet will be available to answer questions. Written and oral comments will be accepted during the meeting. Written comments will be accepted up to 15 days after the meeting. The public can send written comments to The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District Six Office, att. Nikki Molleson, 421 Buttermilk Pike, Box 17130, Covington, Ky., 41017.

All the written and oral comments from the meeting will become part of the official record for the project. Once complied, the meeting record will be made available for review and copying only after an Open Records Act request has been received and approved.
