• The girl’s soccer team was in action last week at the Capital City Classic in Frankfort. The team lost to Western Hills, Franklin County and Frankfort. The team will be at home today (Wednesday) as they host Henry County in their first 31st district game. They will travel to Ludlow on Saturday before returning home on Monday for a game with Bryan Station.
• The Lady Rebels were back on the links on Tuesday as they hosted Carroll County and Henry County at Fairway Golf Course. Owen County easily won the match played on the front nine holes. Shelby Power paced the Lady Rebels with a 38 while Julie Spaulding fired a 41. Lynsey Farrar and Kennedi Dermon each shot 45 while Aly Minch carded a 47. After defending their All ‘A’ Championship Tuesday, the team will travel to play in the Bullitt East Tournament on Saturday at Glenmary Golf Course. The team will then host Ryle on Tuesday at Fairway Golf Course.
• The boy’s golf team improved to 4-1 on the season with a win over Trimble County last week. Justin Trusty was the medalist with a nine-hole total of 38 at Fairway Golf Course. Zach Ripy fired a 39 while Austin Fitzgerald shot 41. Jordan Prather fired a 43. After beginning this week with matches against Walton-Verona and Henry County the team will host the All ‘A’ Tournament on Thursday at Fairway Golf Course.
