Dear Santa:
Wherever you may be right now, I know that you are really busy at this time. So I will try not to take much of your time.
I know this time of the year is the time for wishes to come true and miracles to happen. So that’s the reason for this letter.
I am in desperate need for miracles and wishes to come true.,
I know it’s a lot to ask for you to do that but I need your help. I am a firm believer in miracles, so I guess I will have to wait and see if you think I’ve been a good enough young woman for my Christmas wishes to come true or not.
I am going to refresh your memory a little about me.
I am a disabled 42-year-old woman who just got out of the hospital due to double emergency surgery.
My husband and I have been separated for months now. I don’t have a home or a car of my own to drive. I don’t know how much longer I can go on like this. It’s getting really hard on me.
For I would really like to have a home that I could call my own. I would prefer a home out in the country so I could have my pets as well as my children, somewhere I could lay my head to rest. (I need) something reliable to get back and forth to the doctors and such. I am getting older and my body is getting exhausted from bouncing around. I really am getting too old for this kind of life.
I only live on $482 a month disability which isn’t even enough to rent a place to call home. Plus, you have to have money for deposits, electric, food and water. A poor person like me can’t even get a fair shake on finding the things we need. Any furnishings would be great. I don’t even have a bed to lay in.
So what can I do but pray for a miracle? God and I have talked quite often here lately and I asked him to put in a good word or two for me and my family.
Please think of my family as well and keep them in mind for a good Christmas. They are so important to me.
My 20-year-old son will be 21 on Jan. 12. My 14-year-old will be 15 on Dec. 20. And my 8-year-old son will be 9 on Dec. 6. I also have two beautiful granddaughters. Alexis will be 3 years old on Dec. 15 and baby Katie will be 5 months old on Dec. 22.
So they are all Christmas miracles and I would love to see them all have a wonderful Christmas and birthdays as well.
Can you please help me out? Even if you know someone who will help, please keep me in mind and work out a few miracles.
If you can help or know somebody who can help, please contact me at (502)377-8319.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays. May your journey be a safe one. Hope to see you soon.
