Volunteers work to beautify entrances with new signage to reflect heritage

By Molly Haines

With several events taking place in and around Owen County this summer, some Owen countians have come together to ensure that when a visitor enters the county, they know just where they are.
Owen County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences Judy Hetterman, along with others, have been designing signs to place at different entrances to the county.
Three signs have been put up so far and each has a quilt square on the back, with a name to represent the area where the sign is placed.
