Shelby Co. suspect solves some Owen crimes

A recent arrest by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department helped solve approximately seven different Owen County thefts.
Owen County Sheriff Zemer Hammond said a string of thefts took place during the last two weeks of February, all of which involved farm equipment.
Hammond said the thefts took place on 227, next to Beechwood; on Old Beechwood Road; across from Elk Lick on 607 and other places.
James A. Clark, 32, of Georgetown, allegedly stole racks, feeders, turning plows, gates, tractor weights and other equipment.
