Owen County native, author and News-Herald columnist Georgia Green-Stamper visited the Owen County Public Library Saturday to read selections from her newest book, “Butter In the Morning.” In addition to her reading, Green-Stamper also signed copies of the book.
Green-Stamper said she was impressed with the library’s new facility and recounted a story of a trip to the public library with her father as a child.
“After (Owen County Public Library Director) Jennifer (Nippert) gave me the full tour I had tears in my eyes,” Stamper-Green said. “This is a wonderful facility that everyone can be proud of.”
