Ashley Griffin kicked off her Scentsy candle product sales with a fund-raiser for Relay for Life. This year, continuing her Scentsy sales, she started another business with a Relay fund-raiser – this time with Silpoda Jewelry.
Griffin set up in Peoples Bank Friday, selling both products and continuing her support of Relay for Life and cancer research.
“I set up selling the Scentsy products for the first time as a Relay fund-raiser,” Griffin said. “This year I’ve started selling Silpada Jewelry and I wanted to do it prior to Valentine’s Day in hopes of generating more sales for the holiday.”
Griffin said she was also donating $25 to Relay for Life for each home party she booked.
“I’ve had cancer in my family,” Griffin said. “It’s something I’ve always supported along with the continued research of a cure for cancer.”
Griffin said by doing fund-raisers for Relay for Life she is contributing to finding a cure.
“Everyone can give money and do their part to help out,” Griffin said. “But I’m able to give more this way.”
