Search goes on: Owen County School Board weighing options as hunt for superintendent continues

The Owen County School Board has yet to come to a decision on whether they will enlist the services of the Kentucky School Boards Association’s superintendent search program.
The board met with Mike Oder, the superintendent search consultant for Kentucky School Boards Association, during its meeting Monday.
In 2010, the board opted to use the service in order to find a superintendent to fill former superintendent Mark Cleveland’s vacancy.
Owen County School District Interim Superintendent Sonny Fentress said many districts use the service in their search.
