Santa coming to town as part of Sunday Christmas parade

Santa Claus is coming to town ... again.
Owen County’s annual Christmas parade will makes its way through the streets of Owenton Sunday, officially kicking off the holiday season in the community.
This year’s theme is “A Kentucky Christmas” and was chosen by a council who took ideas from Judy Grisham.
Owen County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences Judy Hetterman said the grand marshal of this year’s parade will be State Rep. Royce Adams, D-Dry Ridge, in honor of his 20-year service as representative.
