One woman was recently injured and airlifted from a one-vehicle wreck on Pleasant Grove Road.

The wreck took place Nov. 2 at 9:27 p.m.; three children were also involved.

Kristalan Molina-Cook, 25, of Corinth was traveling east on Pleasant Grove Road at 55 mph when her vehicle began skidding in the roadway and then went off the east bound edge of the road, striking trees.

Cook told officers working the scene that a deer ran onto the roadway, causing her to lose control of the vehicle.

Owen County Sheriff Zemer Hammond said Cook was airlifted from the scene and taken to U.K., but her injuries were not life-threatening.

Although not injured, a 7-year-old female, a 4-year-old female and a 3-year-old male were taken to the Grant County Hospital to be checked out.
