Retired teachers organization stays busy

On Oct. 17, members of the Owen County Retired Teachers Association enjoyed a buffet lunch at Two Rivers Restaurant at General Butler State Park. Members welcomed new teacher retirees and also celebrated Kentucky Retired Teachers’ Week.
Those who attended were Martha Hamilton, Barbara Ramsey, Susan Burress, Vonda Howard, Suzanne Peak, Rita Ball, Babs Newcomb, Doug Ball, Wilma Perkins, Faye Shelton, Phyllis Malcomb, Julie Donahue and Mike Ramsey.
