Rebels wreck Trimble homecoming

-A A +A
By Brian Blair

A week after losing on its homecoming night, the Owen County Rebels ruined the evening for Trimble County.
The Rebels traveled to Bedford Friday night and dismantled Trimble County.
The 57-6 win may have been just what the team needed as it prepares for the final two district contests.
“We needed to gain confidence and score some points,” Owen County High School Head Football Coach Adam Fowler said.
In their previous two games against Bellevue and Walton-Verona, the Owen County offense had scored just 14 points in each.
