Rebels fall into Tigers’ trap

-A A +A
By Brian Blair

The Bellevue Tigers’ offense seemed like they ran the same play all night and the Owen County defense could not stop it.
The Tigers came to Owenton Friday and for much of the night they ran the ‘trap’ play with running back Dylan Huff. The junior was able to find the hole and run through it to help his Bellevue team return home with a 22-14 win over Owen County.
The loss drops the Rebels to 2-3 on the season as they get ready to open up play in District 5 on Friday night against Walton-Verona.
