When the night was over it was Owen County who made up for an earlier loss to Henry County in Owenton.

After losing to the Wildcats 44-41 in December, it would be the Rebels leaving New Castle with an impressive 75-58. The 75 points was the Rebels’ third-highest point output of the season. The Rebels have gone over 70 points three times this season and have won all three games.

Owen County was led by Kelly and his career-high 24 points. The senior also had six rebounds and dished out four assists. Shelton added 14 points and eight rebounds. Williams and Colligan each had 10 points. Freshman Zach Ripy had the best game of his young career with nine points, three assists and three steals.
