Rebels’ second-half surge leads to second win

Going into Friday night’s game with Owen County High School, the Western Hills’ defense had given up 156 points in three games. You can add 49 more to that total.
After taking a 21-20 lead into halftime, the Rebels came out of the locker room and exploded for 28 second-half points.
The defense did its job as well as Owen County evened its record at 2-2 with a 49-20 win over the Wolverines.
The two teams played a scoreless first quarter before the Wolverines put the first points on the board in the second.
