Rebel Ramblings: At Henry County

• The Wildcats will enter Friday night’s contest after defeating Carroll County High School 14-7 last Friday night.
• Henry County is coached by Jason Spencer, who is in his third year at the helm. His career record is 6-18.
• The last meeting between the two schools was back in 2010 when Henry County defeated Owen County 54-12 in Owenton.
• Henry County owns an eight-game winning streak in the series. The Rebels have to go back to Oct. 17, 2002 to find the last time they beat the Wildcats when the Rebels won 47-6.
• The Wildcats struggled offensively in 2012. As a team, they scored just 116 points all season. They scored 20 or more points just three times all season and were shutout on three occasions.
• Henry County’s last winning season came in 2010 when the Wildcats finished 7-4.
• The last time Henry County had back-to-back losing seasons before last season was in 2002 and 2003.
• In other games involving district teams this week, Carroll County High School will travel to Moore, Walton-Verona will play at Kentucky Country Day, Gallatin County High School will play host to Bellevue and Trimble County will be in Bedford to face Corbin High School.
