Two public agencies need space

By Molly Haines

The Owen County Fiscal Court has found a distributor for the emergency food assistance program, but a location to distribute the commodities remains up in the air.
Items for the food assistance program are purchased through the Northern Kentucky Area Development District and had formerly been distributed by Northern Kentucky Community Action which had to cease  distribution due to budget cuts.
Owen County Judge-executive Carolyn Keith said she was notified that NKCA would no longer be distributing the items in mid-October.
