An ongoing investigation is being led by the Kentucky State Police after two men allegedly robbed the First Farmers Bank in Gratz.

According to a press release, the Kentucky State Police received a call at approximately 11:46 a.m. Saturday reporting that two male subjects with hand guns had entered the bank demanding cash.

The men left with an undisclosed amount of money.

According to Kentucky State Police Post 5 Public Affairs Officer Michael Webb, one of the men wore a ski mask and hoodie, the other a blond wig with a bandana tied around it.

Webb said the two left in a green Dodge pickup truck traveling toward Lockport.

First Farmers Bank security officer Debbie Hamilton declined to comment because of the ongoing investigation.
