A third and final suspect in connection with the robbery of the New Liberty branch of the First Farmers Bank and Trust was arrested at Carroll County Memorial Hospital Monday.
Todd McIntyre, 42, of Ghent, was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with second-degree robbery, flagrant non-support and failure to appear.
Aaron L. Jones, 23, of Fort Mitchell and Wilma Renee Jones, 32, of Carrollton, were arrested without incident by the Fort Mitchell Police Department in Fort Mitchell Saturday.
The two are also being charged with second-degree robbery, a class C felony.
Kentucky State Police Post 5 Public Affairs Trooper Brad Arterburn said Aaron Jones and Wilma Jones are brother and sister. McIntyre is believed to be the boyfriend of Wilma Jones.
Fort Mitchell Police Department Sgt. Matt Robinson said a call was placed to the department informing them that there were active warrants out for Aaron and Renee Jones.
Robinson said police made contact with Kentucky State Police to verify the warrants and then went to Aaron Jones’ residence in Fort Mitchell to see if his vehicle was there. The two were arrested at around 1 p.m. Saturday.
Arterburn said McIntyre was arrested Monday after Gallatin County Sheriff Josh Neale was given information that McIntyre was at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
Arterburn said Neale called KSP Detective Steve Goodale with the information, who arrested McIntyre without incident at the hospital.
Arterburn said each of the three suspects have been arrested several times on numerous, various charges.
The robbery took place Feb. 23, when according to KSP, video from bank cameras showed the alleged perpetrator entering the bank and going to a teller window. The subject reportedly told the tellers to give them “all their money.” After getting the money, the perpetrator fled the bank in an unknown direction.
The subject did not produce a weapon during the robbery.
The New Liberty Branch of First Farmers Bank and Trust Company is located at 460 U.S. Hwy. 227 N.
