The 48th annual Owen County Sweetheart ceremony will take place Feb. 11. Members of the girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams and the football players vote on their favorite cheerleader. Friday night between the girls’ and boys’ doubleheader games, one cheerleader will be crowned the 2009 OCHS Sweetheart. The OCHS Varsity cheerleaders are: Brooke McDaniel, Leslie McNay, Alexa Howard, Danielle Ransdell, Morgan Forsee, Ashley Parks, Colton New, Rachel Dauwe, Miranda Goodhew, Ashley Miller, Shelby Ogden, Brittany Sloma, Leah Forsee, Amber Patton, Jenna Harris, Rebekah Gaines, Katie Haines and Krystal Webster. Coach Paula Bond invites everyone to come support their favorite cheerleader and help them cheer the Rebels to a victory.
