Perry Park hosting fundraiser for New Liberty Fire Department Saturday

-A A +A
By Elisabeth Moore

PERRY PARK — While volunteer fire departments across the nation struggle to meet the needs of their members, one local community is rallying around its department to assist with fundraising.
The community of Perry Park recently stepped up to aid the 21 members of the New Liberty Fire Department and will host a fundraiser at the Glenwood Hall Community Center from 2-7 p.m., Saturday.
The cause is one that’s close to event coordinator Lindsay Brandon’s heart, as her husband, Corey, serves on the department.
