Owenton cops nab three for allegedly stealing purse

Three Owenton residents were recently arrested after a woman’s purse was stolen from the Owen County Public Library, which eventually led to drug charges.
According to a press release from the Owenton Police Department, the purse was accidentally left at the library Aug. 16.
The theft was caught on library cameras which led to the arrests of Tiffany N. Stamper, 34, Robert L. Sanders, 31, and, William M. Robertson, 21.
