Owen track team hosts meet and runs well

The Owen County High School track team hosted a meet last week in Owenton.
The team hosted the Owen County All-Comers and performed well.
The girls won the team competition over Carroll County, Grant County and Williamstown.
The boys finished second behind Grant County. Carroll County was third and Williamstown came in fourth.
For the girls, Sarah Wilhoite finished fifth and Danielle Roetker came in 10th in the 100-meter dash.
Haley DeCandia won the 200-meter dash with Emily Allen in second place.
