For the first time in school history, Owen County High School has one of its own representing Rebel Nation as a Future Farmers of America state officer.
Hunter Sutton, a 2013 OCHS graduate, will serve as the northern Kentucky region’s vice president.
Sutton was chosen during the FFA’s 83rd annual state convention, held in Lexington June 11-13.
OCHS FFA advisor and agriculture teacher Daniel Bustle said Sutton was elected as one of the northern Kentucky region’s candidates in the spring following an interview.
