Orange Crush – 5 vs. Big Monsters – 4
The Orange Crush, coached by Larry Kenner, fought for the victory after falling behind 0–3 early in the game.
Scoring for Orange Crush were Brady Kemper with two; Ashton Moore with two; and James Grider with one.
Avery Miller, Anna Riddle, Kemper and Moore saved multiple shots as they shared goalie duties.
Kailyn Duncan, Kaileigh Grider, Jackson Swigert and Riddle played solid defense breaking many runs by the Big Monsters.
In their debut playing soccer, both Kemper and Swigert showed great instincts and skill which will help Orange Crush.
The Big Monsters, coached by Kathy Stamper, took the early lead against the Orange Crush. Ellie Anderson powered in three goals to lead her team.
Price Griffin added one goal. Griffin made many awesome saves as goalie. Brooklyn Doss maintained possession and hustled to steal the ball during her time on the field. Doss, along with Madison Perkins, made excellent stops as defenders.
HotShots – 5 vs. Team Clemons – 4
The HotShots, coached by Amy Chappell, opened their season with a win against Clemons. Kallista Ogden, Lilly Chappell, Landen Perkins and Blaine Spencer showed off their goalie skills, saving many shots on goal by Team Clemons.
Playing defense and attacking many balls in the full-back position were Hayden Wilson, Gabi Stewart, Alexa Clifford and Makayla House. Scoring for the HotShots were Lilly Chappell with four and Blaine Spencer with one.


Big Monsters – 3 vs. Team Turtle – 2
In its second game of the day, the Big Monsters took the victory in a close match against Team Turtle.
Ethan Young scored his first goals of the season finishing with two. Price Griffin played another outstanding game and finished with one goal. Griffin made more awesome saves as goalie and hustled after the ball while playing striker. Ellie Anderson played a great game saving many shots on goal.
Team Turtle, coached by Brock Ward, fell in their opening match. Scoring for Team Turtle were Brax Ward and Lilly Baumann. Both Ward and Baumann made excellent plays as strikers, taking many shots on goal. Ellie Blair stopped many runs by the Big Monster offense in her defensive position. Playing goalie for Team Turtle, Ford Cull saved many shots.
Tuesday, September 11
Team Turtle – 3 vs. Team Clemons – 0

From the opening whistle, Team Turtleman controlled the game and ball holding Team Clemons scoreless. Scoring for Team Turtle were Brax Ward, Lilly Baumann and Josie Bruner. All players for Team Turtle hustled after the ball and made great passes including everyone in the action. Emma Dorton played a great defensive game stealing the ball from Team Clemons.
HotShots – 4 vs. Big Monsters – 4
In a battle to the final whistle, the HotShots and Big Monsters finished with a  tie.
The HotShots came back to tie the game with the toughness and fight from Lilly Chappell, who scored all four goals for the HotShots.
Alexa Clifford, Blaine Spencer, Hayden Wilson and Makayla House made many saves as they shared goalie responsibilities. The defense was powered by Gabi Stewart, Kallista Ogden, Landen Perkins and Chappell.
Scoring for the Big Monsters were Price Griffin with two, Ellie Anderson and Layne Baxter finished with one each.
This was Baxter’s first goal of the season.
Ethan Young played strong defense stealing the ball and sending it back to his offense.
Madison Perkins played another great game stopping many runs by the HotShots in her defensive position.
