When Kentucky author Machele Coleman Bess was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, her life became a little shaky. Coming from a Christian family, however, she has learned to have faith in God and continue to think positively.
In her new book, “Unshaken Faith: A Parkinson’s Pocketbook,” Bess describes how, while she has been diagnosed with an uncommon disease, she strives to appreciate the little things in life and remember that God alone is her fortress and she will not be shaken.
