Owen clerk’s office gets positive audit

State Auditor Adam Edelen recently released the audit of the 2011 financial statement from Owen County Clerk Joan Kincaid.
According to a statement, the audit found that the clerk’s financial statement presents fairly the revenues, expenditures and excess fees of the clerk in conformity with the regulatory basis of accounting.
The auditor noted no instances of noncompliance. The auditor also noted no matters involving internal control over financial reporting and its operation that were considered to be material weaknesses.
