Man formally charged in crash that claimed his brother’s life

An Owen County man is being charged with second-degree manslaughter following an alleged DUI-related crash May 16.
The crash took place on Frank Clark Road when the driver, Lamonte Richardson, 55, was traveling east on Frank Clark Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, police said in an earlier statement.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Both Richardson and a passenger, David Richardson, 59, were trapped in the vehicle.
The men were brothers.
