Lois Evelyn Clemons of Owenton passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Owenton Manor.
Born Dec. 29, 1921 in Clark County, Ill. to the late Robert Ledger and Goldie Ionia Clark, she was a loving and giving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She embraced the beauty of God’s miracles especially the animals and plants he created.  This brought much joy, love and beauty to her world as well as a sense of duty to help preserve and nurture all of God’s miracles especially animals in need.
